Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Footy Finder ("the Service", "the Platform", "we", "us") is a multi-user network operated by Football & More ("the Operator"). The Platform connects football player agents, clubs, and independent players in a shared marketplace for player proposals, scouting and transfer-related communications.

Operator's full legal name, registered office, VAT/tax number and contact email will be added in the definitive version.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or accessing the Platform you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into a contract.
If you register on behalf of a company, club or agency, you have the authority to bind that entity.
You have read, understood and accept these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

3. The Service

Footy Finder offers, depending on the user role:

Agents — managing player profiles, posting requests, generating PDF profiles, document storage, matching, shortlists and proposals.
Clubs — posting transfer requests, browsing and receiving proposals, managing incoming player profiles.
Independent players — creating a personal profile and (in paid tier) attaching personal documents and accessing the agents directory.

The Platform is a tool that facilitates communication and discovery. We do not act as agent, broker, intermediary or party to any transfer, employment or commercial agreement between users. Any agreement reached is exclusively between the parties involved.

4. Free-trial period

From the launch of this version until 31 May 2026 (or any extended date communicated by us), all features marked as paid are made available free of charge for evaluation purposes. At the end of the free-trial period:

Accounts on free or trial plans will continue to function in their respective tiers.
Accounts on plans that become paid will be invited to subscribe through our payment provider. If no subscription is activated, access to paid features will be suspended; the account and uploaded data will not be deleted automatically.
We reserve the right to extend, modify or shorten the free-trial period with reasonable notice.

5. Beta status and disclaimers

The Service is currently in beta / pre-release. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or absence of errors. You acknowledge and accept that:

Features may change, be removed, or behave unexpectedly.
Data loss, downtime or bugs may occur. Until external backups are in place, you should keep your own copies of any critical document.
Information about players, clubs and agents shown on the Platform is provided by other users and is not verified by us. Always perform your own due diligence.

6. Account registration and security

You agree to provide truthful, accurate and up-to-date information at registration and to keep it current in your settings. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity carried out through your account. You must notify us promptly at the contact email below in case of unauthorised access.

7. User-generated content and player data

When you upload content to the Platform — including player profiles, photos, logos, PDFs, scouting reports, contracts, medical certificates, notes, requests and proposals — you declare and warrant that:

You have the right to upload and share that content.
You have obtained any consent legally required from the individuals concerned (in particular: players, including minors when applicable; their parents/legal guardians; any other identifiable third party).
The content does not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, image, contractual or other rights of any third party.
The content is not unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service and providing it to other authorised users in line with the role-based access rules of the Platform.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful activities.
Upload fake profiles, false data or misleading documents.
Scrape, crawl, copy in bulk or reverse-engineer the Platform or any of its data.
Use the Platform to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages or to harvest contact details.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, data or to the underlying infrastructure.
Interfere with the security, integrity or performance of the Service.

9. Subscription, billing and refunds (when activated)

Once paid plans are activated, payments will be processed by a regulated payment provider (currently Stripe). You will be presented with the applicable price, billing cycle and currency before confirming any purchase. Unless otherwise stated:

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled.
You may cancel renewal at any time through your billing area; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Statutory consumer rights (including the right of withdrawal where applicable under EU law) are not affected.

Refund policy and exact pricing will be finalised in the definitive version.

10. Intellectual property

All rights in the Platform, the Footy Finder name and logo, the Football & More brand, the source code, the database structure, the matching engine and the user interface are owned by us or our licensors. No right or licence is granted to you other than the limited right to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, in case of breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, non-payment after the trial period or where required by law. Upon termination your right to use the Service ends; we may retain certain data for the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages; loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data; damages arising from inaccurate user-generated content; transfers, contracts or commercial outcomes negotiated between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for fraud or gross negligence).

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email or in-app notice with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Any dispute will be brought before the competent court of the Operator's registered office, save where mandatory law gives jurisdiction to a different court.
